Customer Reviews
Nice jar candle
I got one of their scented jar candles, a floral fragrance, and it smells really good. It burned evenly too, which is always a plus. Shipping was pretty quick, no complaints there. I'd probably buy another one.
Always reliable for tapers
This is my third time ordering from Colonial Candle, and they're consistently good. I mostly get their dripless dinner candles, usually the 12 inch tapers, and they never disappoint. This last order was just as expected – great quality, they burn clean, and arrived quickly. It's why I keep coming back, I know what I'm getting. They're my go-to for candles now.
Nice home fragrance
I ordered a couple of the fresh citrus candles and a wax warmer for my living room. The order arrived pretty quick, maybe four days. Everything was packed well, no breaks or anything. I really like the scent, it's not too strong but you can definitely smell it. My friends even asked where I got them. Happy with the purchase, made my place smell good.
Good candles, slight shipping delay
I ordered a few of the multi-wick jars and some of their classic unscented taper candles. The ordering process on the website was straightforward, easy to navigate. The candles themselves are really high quality; the jar candles have a strong but not overpowering scent, and the tapers are indeed dripless as advertised. My only minor issue was that the delivery took a day longer than the initial estimate, but everything arrived well-packaged and intact. I didn't need to contact support, so can't comment there. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and the product quality.
Good deal on jar candles
I was looking for some new jar candles and saw Colonial Candle had a buy one get one free offer. I picked up two of the heritage collection candles, the Fresh Linen scent. It was a great way to save, especially since I'd been eyeing their candles for a bit. The total felt really fair for two nice quality candles.
Decent quality, slow shipping
I bought a set of their unscented taper candles and a wick trimmer. The tapers burn nicely and really are virtually dripless, which was a pleasant surprise. The wick trimmer works as it should, feels pretty sturdy. My only real complaint was the shipping. It took about a week and a half to get here, which felt a bit long for something that wasn't custom. I had to reach out to customer service once to check on the status, and they were polite but didn't offer any real explanation for the delay. Overall, the products are good quality for the price, but they could improve on their delivery speed.
Solid quality, could improve tracking
I decided to try their woody fragrances in a few votive candles and an electric wax warmer. The scents are nice and the wax warmer works perfectly. Shipping was okay, it arrived in about five days, but the tracking updates were a bit sparse after it left their warehouse. It would be good to have more detailed tracking. The products themselves are good value for the price, no complaints on quality or scent throw. I'd consider buying again, especially if they improve the shipping communication.
Love these tapers!
I just got a set of the 10 inch tapers and they are fantastic! They really are virtually dripless, which is amazing for dinner parties. The color was perfect and they burned for ages. I will definitely be getting more for the holidays!

Are Colonial Candle products still made in the USA? Just trying to support American businesses where I can.
Hey, wondering if those taper candles are actually dripless. I've had so many bad experiences with other brands ruining my tablecloth.
Hey, wondering about the shipping time for these candles. I'm in NYC, trying to get some for a party next weekend. Will they make it?
Are the taper candles actually dripless? Or is it like 'mostly' dripless until you get a draft?
Does Colonial Candle do any first-time buyer discounts? Planning to grab a bunch of stuff but want to save a little if I can.
